Why do I need a screen protector for my LCD monitor?

Most warranties provide explicit warnings against touching, rubbing or tapping the LCD screen since a scratched screen surface is NOT covered under warranty. Because of this, it is very important to protect the screen surface with an LCD Screen Protector. A screen protector provides a strong, protective barrier to prevent potential damge that can occur from excessive touching, rubbing or tapping the screen.

Concurrently optical coatings provide glare and eyestrain relief.

What is the LCD Screen Protector made of?

The LCD Protector is made of a very strong and durable acrylic material. Unlike glass, an acrylic protector will not shatter, crack or break.

Why does the LCD Screen Protector cost more than a traditional CRT glare filter?

Contrary to popular perception, acrylic is 3 times more expensive than glass.

How does the protector attach to my LCD?

The back of the screen protector has two mounting tabs that affix to the top and bottom of your LCD monitor. The screen itself is mounted with dura-lock material (a top of the line Velcro type material) and can be removed for cleaning. In addition, the mounting tab, which is affixed directly to the monitor, will not leave any adhesive residue on your LCD is removed.

Will the LCD Screen Protector reduce glare?

Yes, the LCD Screen Protector has an anti-reflective coating that reduces glare to minimise eyestrain, fatigue and headaches.

How should I clean my LCD Screen Protector?

We suggest using a dry wipe made of non-woven fabric or micro fibre. Or, you may use a non-alcohol spray or wet wipe. Any cleaner with alcohol may damage/remove the coating.
